Changes to Silverlink Metro services 30 June to 1 July

On the above dates engineering work will be carried out by Network Rail on two sections of Silverlink's Metro route.

From 1600 on Saturday 30 June and all day Sunday 1July the line will be closed between Hackney Wick and Stratford.  The normal train service will run  between Richmond and Hackney Wick.  Customers should use scheduled bus route 276 between Hackney Wick and Stratford where Silverlink tickets will be accepted.

Also on Sunday 1 July, until 1230 the line will be closed between Stratford and Camden Road.  A revised train service will run between Richmond and Camden Road and replacement buses will be provided between Camden Road and Hackney Central, calling at all intermediate stations.  Customers traveling to/from stations between Hackney Central and Stratford should use scheduled bus route 276 where Silverlink tickets will be accepted.  The first through trains between Hackney Wick and Richmond will be the 1208 departure from Richmond to Hackney Wick and the 1253 departure from Hackney Wick to Richmond.

On Saturday 30 June engineering work will be carried out between Kilburn High Road and Wembley Central and as a result there will be changes to the Euston-Watford Metro service.

There will be no Silverlink Metro service between Euston and Wembley Central and the Bakerloo Line services will not run north of Queens Park.  Silverlink trains will however run between Wembley Central and Watford Junction, and Silverlink County trains between Euston and Milton Keynes will call additionally at Wembley Central.

Customers travelling to/from Central London/Euston are advised to use the Bakerloo / Victoria line via Oxford Circus and change at Queens Park for a frequent replacement bus service between Queen's Park and Wembley Central, calling at all stations. Tickets will also be accepted on local bus routes 18, 31, 206 & 316. Customers for Wembley Central can take the  Silverlink County service to/from Euston; customers for stations North Wembley and beyond can take the Silverlink County service from Euston and change at Wembley Central.

On Sunday 1 July the work continues until 1145, and there will be no Metro train service between Euston and Watford Junction during this time.

Customers travelling to/from Central London/Euston are advised to use the Bakerloo / Victoria line via Oxford Circus and change at Queens Park for a frequent replacement bus service between Queen's Park and Wembley Central, calling at all stations. Tickets will also be accepted on local bus routes 18, 31, 206 & 316.

A 30 minute interval bus service will operate between Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction.

The first Metro services will be the 1147 departure from London Euston to Watford Junction, and the 1151 departure from Watford Junction to London Euston.

Where all or part of the journey involves transfer by bus customers should allow extra time.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to carry cycles, prams and bulky luggage on the bus services.
